While 2008 wasn’t an easy year for me (as it may have been for you), I told myself 2009 wasn’t going to go the same way. Normally, I’m not the type of person who makes these decisions for New Year’s. In spite of that, I decided it was time for me to change my approach up. What I came up with was that I was going to commit to taking more trips. To ensure I followed through on this, I started making plans right away.

In case you are curious, I just got back from Birmingham, which was the vacation I planned at the beginning of the year. Whether you are going to Birmingham for a couple of days or a much longer amount of time, if you are planning on going to multiple locations around Birmingham, I highly recommend getting a car rental. The reason that I encourage you to get a car rental is because it will make your trip there go much more smoothly. When you have a car rental, you don’t have to worry about being able to get from one place to the next. Even if it’s a spur of the moment decision to go somewhere, you will have a reliable method of transportation that will allow you to get to your desired destination.

If you do plan on taking my advice and getting a car rental for yourself, you should reserve it on-line in advance. The reason that I recommend this is because it will save you time and money. Also, when you make your reservation in advance, you will be able to pick up your car rental when you arrive at the Birmingham airport, instead of waiting around for an available rental or travelling to a different location to pickup your rental.

Two weeks ago, I took a trip to Birmingham for a couple of days. When I first arrived at the Birmingham airport, I had to get a rental car before I could begin my trip. I know that some people like using different modes of transportation when they travel, but I have always been the type of person who prefers to have a rental car to use.

When I picked up my car rental from the Birmingham airport, things went extremely smoothly. I would say that it took less than ten minutes for me to get the keys to my rental car and head out to begin my trip.
